Art of Cockpit
With your hands on the steering wheel and your eyes on the dashboard, the seat behind the wheel has always been the place of emotional enthusiasm for the automobile. The cockpits of today's cars are therefore meticulously composed by designers down to the last detail. But even in the history of the automobile, fittings and interiors have always been evidence of craftsmanship and contemporary taste that went beyond pure practical use. In this volume, the photographer René Staud and the motoring journalist Heinrich Lingner tell the design story of the driver's control center with numerous atmospherically composed studio shots.
